Kim Carillo is a prolific journalist and TV producer who has worked in the industry for over thirty years.  Her career has taken her to New York, LA,  London and Australia.  

For seven years Kim worked for Sir Michael Parkinson at the BBC where she met just about everybody who was anybody.  She then created her own highly successful independent television company, Galaxy Television, producing stories for Extra!, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, American Journal, Australia’s 60 Minutes and Germany’s Sat 1.  More recently Kim has specialised in writing for international women’s magazines including Closer, Now, Woman, Woman's Own, Pick Me Up, Real People, Full House, More, Look, Bella, Woman and Home, Celebs, Daily Express, New Idea (Australia) and Australian Women's Weekly, focusing on women’s issues and real life stories.  

Kim has an excellent nose for a story coupled with a strong ability to gain the confidence of her interviewees whether they be A list celebrities or ordinary people going through personal tragedy. She is the mother of two children, one stepson and a chocolate lab and is married to New York TV producer and novelist Charlie Carillo.  She splits her time between New York and London.
