'Thanks to Wagstaff's romantic description of the French countryside, we want to pack up and move there immediately ... If you're not due a holiday but still fancy a drama-filled romance in Provence, look no further.' - Heat Magazine
'When a fragrance heir is killed in an accident, all eyes turn to his new wife. You can smell the scandal on every page!'
- Look Magazine (Must-Read)
'Filled with intriguing characters who sizzle with myriad emotions, this novel is one of the best I've read in a while. Cat and the Ducasse family are written with such complexity and warmth that you can't help falling in love with all of them, despite their faults. This is sure to help you forget your everyday worries while you get lost in its wonderful pages.'
- Chick Lit Club
'A gripping family read ... Wagstaff is a brilliant writer, the story flows so easily and the 500 pages just whizzed by for me. I for one am eagerly awaiting Sasha’s fourth novel and I hope it’s just as wonderful as Heaven Scent.'

Cat Hayes is devastated by the death of her new husband Olivier Laroque, an apparently penniless waiter who she had married following a whirlwind romance on holiday in the South of France on a much needed break from her high profile advertising job. On returning to the UK, she also finds herself without a job or a flat.
When a letter from a solicitor arrives out of the blue summoning her to meet Olivier's family, Cat begins to suspect that Olivier wasn't who he had said he was. With nothing to lose, she makes the journey to France and is astonished to learn that the so called waiter was in fact an heir to a well known perfume fortune. Cat finds herself all but imprisoned in a beautiful chateau in Provence, trying to convince Olivier's family that she had not married him for his money and had no interest in claiming part of his inheritance.
Needless to say, her story sounds implausible to say the least, but slowly the family come round to her and she becomes inextricably involved in their lives, learning about the wonderfully sensual perfume industry whilst simultaneously finding out more about Olivier's murky past. Surprisingly, Cat finds a place amongst them against all the odds and her life takes a direction she had never anticipated.
Set in the beautiful south of France and revolving around a luxurious and seductive industry, Heaven Scent is a multi-generational family story written with warmth and humour.
Sasha Wagstaff spent eight years working in an investment bank where she reached the position of Assistant Vice President, overseeing forty staff. But something was missing… Sasha lost herself in novels during her long commute and stories of her own began to take shape. Soon, every spare moment was spent writing and when she found herself excitedly scribbling love scenes during three hour conference calls with New York she knew that she had to make some changes to her life. Sasha lives in a pleasant rural town in Essex with her husband and two daughters.
